    Responsibilities & Requirements


    • Handles all new evaluation scheduling at the front desk and assists with front desk operations
    • Greeting patients, visitors, families and directing them with excellent customer service
    • Completing patient registration for outpatient therapies including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy
    • Coordinating, organizing and completing outpatient scheduling for NeuroRehab
    • Entering pertinent registration/scheduling information including gathering and processing patient demographic and financial information
    • Assisting in tracking signatures for therapy Plans of Care for patients
    • Utilizing knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding
    • Processing paperwork that includes insurance information, consent forms, medical history forms, etc.
    • Completing office activities as needed – answering phones, copying, faxing, tracking forms etc.
    • Works directly with neuro patients whom may have difficulty communicating, following directions at times
    • Other duties as assigned 


    • Ability to work in a fast paced patient care environment
    • Able to type 60 WPM
    • Intermediate computer knowledge
    • Working knowledge of medical terminology

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Associates Degree
    - 3+ years clerical experience
